Here you will find so much good information about our upcoming adventure. Trek is scheduled May 28 to May 31, 2025, coming so soon! We are so excited to have this opportunity go on this Pioneer Trek and look forward to a memorable & fun journey.
The purpose of Trek is to bring young men and young women closer to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our focus will be on contemporary issues, recognizing that youth are faced with especially pressing challenges, unique to their generation. Their ability to rely on Jesus Christ is crucial in addressing these challenges, finding joy here on earth, and eternal salvation. Trek will provide our youth with perspective, strategies and a desire to turn to their Savior.
We hope & pray that all of us will participate in Trek with the intent of coming to know better our Savior Jesus Christ. As we learn about our Pioneer heritage, their sacrifices and sacred experiences, we will find they relate to our lives today. We can learn to Look Unto Christ, and gain personal knowledge, power, and strength from Him, which will benefit & brighten the rest of our earthly journey back home to our Father in Heaven.
Our objective is that we all become more converted to the Lord, and more able to follow Him and do His will in our lives — while we absolutely have FUN along the way.
Getting the most out of the Trek
Without exception, you will have the experience that you prepare for and are open to along the trail. Your attitude may be the most important thing you bring with you on the trek. Try to embrace:
- A Spirit of Friendship: Reach out to others. Try to make new friends. Be a friend. Look for opportunities to lift and encourage others.
- A Spirit of Participation: Join in activities. Be supportive. Include others and help them to have a great time.
- A Spirit to Learn: Be willing to learn new things. Ask questions. Answer questions. Teach others and be teachable. Listen to the Spirit and be willing to learn something new in all your activities.
